Antifire

AntiFire is the asset management of the Municipality of Milan related to fire and electrical systems including the management of scheduled maintenance, related calendars, extraordinary interventions, management contracts with suppliers, tracking of interventions to be carried out directly in the field, the historical activity on the assets, control, and invoicing SALs.
For the unique identification of assets, they are paired with a unique identifier which, when inserted into a QR Code, for example, a sticker, allows retrieving all the information about the element.

In the central information system related to assets will be correlated: scheduled and extraordinary interventions, attached documents, invoices, contracts, images on interventions that demonstrate the activities, date and time of intervention, signed reports, geolocated position of objects, any schemes, manuals, etc., documenting the object and useful during the intervention, as well as the characteristics themselves, the fundamental dates for management, control, and proper maintenance.
State of the art
This system was implemented with the aim of:

  • Improving efficiency and timeliness;
  • Enhancing the effectiveness of controls;
  • Fully tracking activities on assets;
  • Leveraging activities to census and mark with QR all elements that enter into management;
  • Reducing management effort, particularly data entry, by automating the exchange of information between the Municipality and suppliers by exploiting automatic email generation and App for assigning batches of work to suppliers, deadlines, and temporal feedback, GPS localization (to know in real-time the location of operators, always respecting privacy and in compliance with GDPR), images, and signatures at the close of interventions that will have to be matched back in the system for comparisons and controls of budgeted vs actual, approval, and SAL;
  • Developing a reporting system that displays the order situation in real time, allowing filters and extractions in Excel and PDF (open / in progress / closed);
  • Creating a system that integrates reporting and business intelligence for the analysis and data extraction related to assets, to assist management in control and planning activities;
  • Increasing awareness and knowledge of any critical situations, to plan corrective interventions.
